Integrity Environmental Solution is looking for a driven engineering intern, to provide support to ongoing civil and environmental projects in the southeast United States. This role will be best suited for a high energy candidate who shows initiative. This position will involve multiple job functions. Position involves 75-90% office-based engineering work and 10-25% field work. We are looking for interns in our offices in the Southeast.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assist senior-level engineers, staff engineers, project managers and field staff
  • Edit and review drawings in AutoCAD
  • Review construction plans and specifications
  • Collect construction data, complete documentation forms
  • Perform field tests on newly constructed infrastructure to ensure proper operation
  • Input, edit and analyze data collected in field
  • Utilize specialized testing, sampling and data collection equipment
  • Aid in writing and editing technical reports and engineering evaluations.

Qualifications and Skills

Application Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of coursework in civil or environmental engineering, or similar engineering degree
  • Must be able to perform field work which involves lengthy periods of walking, standing, climbing steep inclines and carrying equipment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • An understanding of creating and reading AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D drawings.
