This role will be required to manage and maintain contact with clients, manage schedules, and help support career development with staff engineers. This roll will also coordinate with our Environmental Science team and Operations and Management teams. This individual will need to be able to provide senior review/engineering certifications for a variety of tasks including construction drawings, engineering reports and letters, permit applications, calculations, business development, and proposals.
Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

- 5+ years working at an engineering consulting firm preferred
- 3-5+ years working in solid waste/landfill industry required
- Bachelors of Science Degree or higher in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical or Geotechnical Engineering preferred
- Business Development experience preferred
- PE License
- Valid clear Driver’s License
- Must be eligible to be legally employed in the U.S.
- Previous management preferred

Senior Civil/Solid Waste Engineer

We have experienced rapid growth and are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer/Solid Waste Engineer to lead our program and/or design efforts in that space. The role can be exclusively a senior engineering technical position – or a senior Director/Program Manager working with our existing client base. We’ll match the role and the location to fit your needs! The selected candidate will generally manage and lead projects in the solid waste sector involving landfill cell design, planning, design modifications, stormwater management system design, landfill closure, construction quality assurance, and solid waste permitting. Periodic travel is required based on project demands. This is an office-based role – however the candidate will preferably office at one of our existing southeastern US locations and will need to lead engineers at one or more of those locations which include Richmond VA, Marietta GA, Columbia SC, or Tampa FL. We will consider other arrangements for the right person.

Job Description

The selected candidate will help manage and lead projects in the solid waste sector involving operations, maintenance, and monitoring; landfill gas systems; permitting and compliance, renewable natural gas; solid waste and gas system construction; and construction quality assurance. Helping support our existing O&M, Engineering, landfill monitoring, construction, and CQA services divisions. As new projects begin the individual will be required to manage and maintain contact with clients, manage schedules, and help manage staff engineers. This individual will assist with a variety of assignments that may include report writing, calculations, business development, and proposals.

This role’s primary responsibility is to monitor gas extraction wells on several active landfills within the state of PA. A gas sampling device will be used to measure gas composition at each well so that the appropriate adjustment to the extraction rate can be made. The technician will be required to work outdoors approximately 8-10 hours per day, often walking several miles per day.
Other duties which will be required at times include:
- Use a gas monitoring/sampling device to monitor surface emissions from the landfills.
- Complete construction related tasks such as well raises and LFG system repairs, HDPE Fusion
- Clean, install, and troubleshoot pneumatic pumps throughout field
- Monitor gas wells with supplied instrumentation.
- Wear OSHA Level D and required personal protective monitoring devices
- Input, edit and interpret data collected in field and complete daily activity logs, checklists, forms, in Excel and Word
- Troubleshoot, inspect and repair equipment and machinery
- Operate small equipment (powertools, skidsteers, manlifts, etc.)
- Miscellaneous errands (equipment and vehicle maintenance and cleaning, equipment inventory, non-routine tasks, etc.)
Must Have:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to push/pull/lift 75 lbs. and walk/stand/bend/kneel/sit for long periods
- Valid driver's license with a clean MVR
- Travel is rare but occasionally expected
- Must be 19 years of age or older and eligible to be legally employed in the U.S.

Job Description
- Ability to perform tasks including physical labor as instructed by supervisor

The Opportunity
Integrity is seeking a Construction Manager for our Marietta, GA Office. The selected candidate will work out of Marietta, GA office. The selected candidate will communicate with construction managers and directors regarding a variety of projects, timelines and documentation in the construction and maintenance of renewable natural gas system pipelines and other landfill maintenance.
Your Responsibilities
- Working with senior level construction managers and directors
- Assist scheduling projects & crews
- Assist construction managers by communicating with field crews on a daily basis to compile installation quantities, resolve questions or challenges related to the project, update schedules, and alert the construction managers of items that may require their attention
- Maintain red line drawings for active projects to ensure accuracy
- Quantify installation milestones
- Complete construction reports and construction quality assurance reports
- Assist with pre-construction, construction, and post construction submittals
- Aid in development of construction management BMPs
- May require assisting other staff with various reports and documentation
Your Qualifications
- Ability to work both independently and within groups
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software
