Integrity Environmental Solutions is seeking a senior-level Geologist to join our Environmental Team in Richmond, VA. Integrity is an energetic environmental consulting firm offering engineering, environmental, operation/maintenance, and construction services to the solid waste industry.

Integrity is looking to strengthen the Environmental Services Group in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Interested candidates should thrive in an everchanging, fast-paced environment while working both in a team and independently to get the job done. This role will be a mix between office and field work, typically completed during a regular work week, Monday through Friday, with occasional overnight travel and weekend needs. Desirable candidates will be self-starters who can work efficiently without constant direction and be flexible to changing priorities.

Your Responsibilities –

• Oversight of monitoring well/probe installations
• Development of groundwater potentiometric maps
• Compliance reporting and management
• Sampling all types of media: groundwater, surface water, soil, stormwater, air/gas
• Conducting Environmental Phase I/II Assessments
• Completion of Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP)/Spill Prevention Control & Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans

Your Qualifications

• Bachelors of Science Degree or higher in Geology
• Professional registration preferred but not required (G.I.T. or P.G.)
• 7 or more years professional experience
• Previous management and/or scheduling experience preferred
• Business Development experience is a plus
• Ability to log and classify soils/bedrock
• Strong communication skills, oral and written
• Confidence in owning a task and following through to completion
• Ability to meet and manage deadlines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks concurrently
• Microsoft Office and other computer programs (AutoCAD, EQuIS, ArcGIS, Google Forms, etc..) experience preferred
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds and be able to traverse steep or rugged terrain
• Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions: rain, sun, heat, cold.
• Valid Driver’s License
• Must be eligible to be legally employed in the U.S.
• Successfully pass a pre-employment (post offer) drug screen, background check, and motor vehicle records check
