Services Provided Construction, Engineering & Design, OM&M
Orange County, Florida (County) operates both Class I landfill and construction and demolition (C&D) debris disposal facility at its solid waste management facility in Orlando, Florida, managing approximately 800,000 tons of MSW and 200,000 tons of C&D debris per year.
Integrity has provided OM&M services to the County since our original selection in 2017 under three consecutive term contracts. We currently provides routine and non-routine OM&M services for the two active landfill units (Cell 9-11 and Class III Cell 2) as well as four closed landfill units (Pre-1985 Area, Class III Cell 1, Cell AK, and Cell 7B/8). OM&M services cover the landfill gas collection system, the leachate management system, and the stormwater management system.
LFG System Services, Sampling and Reporting
Landfill Gas OM&M Services – We currently operates, maintains, and monitors 470 vertical LFG extraction wells, 115 horizontal LFG collectors, 48 condensate sumps, 42 downwell pneumatic pumps and 3 flares. All of the LFG collectors in Cells 9-11 are monitored on a weekly basis, Cells AK and 7B/8 are monitored once every two weeks, and Class III Cells 1 and 2 and the Pre-1985 Area are monitored monthly. Data wellfield monitoring data is uploaded to DataField for use by the County and its consultants. Additionally, each condensate sump is opened and vacuumed out at least once a month. Additionally, Integrity performs annual visual emissions inspections for all of the flares onsite (including 3 flares that ate not maintained by Integrity). Finally, Integrity performs calibrations on all gas flowmeters on an annual basis.
Miscellaneous O&M Services
Leachate Management OM&M Services – Integrity currently operates and maintains the leachate collection systems in Cells 9-11 and Cell 7B/8. This maintenance includes the daily inspection of each leachate collection pump and control panel. Integrity also performs monthly cleaning of all leachate lift stations. Integrity also performs annual inspections of all leachate storage tanks onsite and calibrates all leachate flowmeters.
Stormwater Management OM&M Services – Integrity performs annual inspection of all stormwater structures onsite and recommends repairs, as needed. In addition to the annual inspections, we clean out all stormwater manholes onsite on a monthly basis.
As a component to both the leachate system and stormwater system OM&M services, Integrity conducts quarterly inspections and maintenance on 53 pumps onsite. These pumps range from 1hp leachate sumps pumps to 250hp stormwater transfer pumps. This maintenance of these pumps systems demonstrates Integrity’s expertise of maintaining a wide selection of pumps.
In addition to the tha above services, we perform approximately 40 to 50 hours per week on non-routine OM&M services. These services are the repairs to the aforementioned equipment that were identified during routine OM&M services.
On-call Construction
Integrity provides on-call LFG construction services. Integrity has provided drilling and construction of vertical LFG extraction wells, construction of horizontal LFG collectors, construction of conveyance piping (sub-headers, laterals, leachate forecemains, and airlines) and stormwater control structures.
