LocationJacksonville, FloridaDuration2017 to Present

Trail Ridge Landfill is a 427-acre MSW landfill that is owned by the City of Jacksonville and operated by Trail Ridge Landfill, Inc., a subsidiary of Waste Management. Integrity has provided water quality reporting services at the site since 2017.

Compliance Monitoring, Sampling and Reporting
Routine work has included design and installation of new monitoring wells, review of water quality data, preparation of potentiometric surface maps, and preparation and submission of water quality reports and time sensitive notifications.

Contamination Evaluation and Reporting
In 2017, the City construted a 280 acre expansion which included an extensive stormwater management system. After contaminants were detected above water quality standards in expansion area groundwater and surface waters, we planned and conducted a multi-media field investigation as part of an Alternate Source Demonstration (ASD). We worked with multiple stakeholders to conduct the ASD and address neighbor and regulatory concerns. Integrity designed and worked with WM, the City, and FDEP to implement efficient and effective corrective measures which included use of gabeon baskets, sediment curtains, and alum flocculation. The Alternate Source Demonstration field investigation was planned and conducted in approximately three weeks.

Landfill Gas System Sampling and Reporting
Integrity also conducts ongoing surface emission monitoring under NSPS XXX and other LFG related projects as requested. All monitoring, reports, and notifications are submitted in accordance with permit and rule requirements.
