Rick Dybendal

James “Rick” Dybendal has built an impressive career in the drilling and heavy equipment industry, spanning over four decades. Starting with his family-run excavating company in 1984, Rick gained valuable experience as a heavy equipment operator before transitioning into solid waste and landfill gas management. Rick joined Organic Waste Technologies in 1992, quickly advancing from Heavy Equipment Manager to Construction Superintendent, to Senior Construction Project Manager.

In 2012, Rick took on a new challenge as Superintendent for Northern Pipeline, followed by a role as Drilling Director at Landmark Environmental in Chicago. After going into business for himself, Rick came out of semi-retirement in 2017 to join Integrity (then Carlson Environmental Consultants) where he began as a driller and progressed to Principal Drilling Director, overseeing logistics and mechanics.

Rick’s leadership and project management skills have earned him recognition from peers and mentors alike. He attributes his success in part to having employers and managers who recognized and fostered his dedication and potential. He values the strong culture at Integrity, where open communication and friendships among partners drive the collaborative environment.

Beyond work, he enjoys restoring classic cars, particularly his Corvette, and riding Harleys. Additionally, Rick has a hidden talent for decorative concrete finishing. Proud of his family, especially his granddaughter, Rick embodies dedication both at work and home. His journey reflects a blend of hard work, resilience, and a genuine passion for the industry, making him an invaluable asset to Integrity Environmental Solutions.
